The default HTTP header created by ASP.NET includes a string called X-AspNet-Version. An example....

Ideally you want to give away as little information as possible about your web server to potential hackers. You can easily remove this string by making a change to the web.config file.
Setting the enableVersionHeader attribute to true in the httpRuntime element will remove the string from all the http headers.

To set up dasBlog email notification that is hosted with GoDaddy you first need to make sure your GoDaddy email works.
If you can log in to your GoDaddy email account using GoDaddy Web-Based Email then you can use that account with dasBlog too.

Your Contact E-mail address in the dasBlog configuration section must under the same domain as your hosted dasBlog account.
An example from the dasBlog configuration settings:

Next, under Notification Settings section make sure SMTP points to and Notification E-mail address and SMTP login details are the same as your Web Mail login:

Finally hitting the Test SMTP Server button should send a test email to your account.

If your Contact E-mail address is different to your SMTP Username then you may get the following error in the dasBlog event log:
SMTPError: while processing Mailbox name not allowed. The server response was: sorry, your mail was administratively denied.
