To set up dasBlog email notification that is hosted with GoDaddy you first need to make sure your GoDaddy email works.
If you can log in to your GoDaddy email account using GoDaddy Web-Based Email then you can use that account with dasBlog too.
Your Contact E-mail address in the dasBlog configuration section must under the same domain as your hosted dasBlog account.

Next, under Notification Settings section make sure SMTP points to relay-hosting.secureserver.net and Notification E-mail address and SMTP login details are the same as your Web Mail login:
Finally hitting the Test SMTP Server button should send a test email to your account.
If your Contact E-mail address is different to your SMTP Username then you may get the following error in the dasBlog event log:
SMTPError: while processing Mailbox name not allowed. The server response was: sorry, your mail was administratively denied.
