www.samknows.com is a great website that provides all the information you need to know about broadband/ADSL coverage in your area.
It has a really cool mapping page that will calculate the maximum download rate you can get by selecting your exchange and road using Google maps.
It also shows you all the available providers for your exchange.

The site also has a huge amount of stats and other info like proposed rollout and upgrade dates etc.
